Grandmaster Lalic Bogdan

Born 08.03.1964 in Zagreb, capital of Coratia.

Became grandmaster in 1988 after sharing first place in closed tournament in Sarajevo ( Bosnia and Herzegovina ).

Best elo 2600 in 1997, author of verious books ( Gruenfeld defense, The Queens Indian defense, Budapest Gambit, Nimzoindian 4 Qc2 Classical system, The Marshall attack ). Played for various countries in team competitions ( Yugoslavia B-team in Novi Sad Olympiade in 1990 and for Yugoslavia in European Team Championship in Haifa 1989 when Yugoslavia was second behind USSR ), for Croatia ( Olympiades in Manila 1992, Moscow 1994, Yerevan 1996, Elista 1998, World Team Championship in Luzern in 1997 ), and for England ( European Team Championship in Plovdiv in 2003 ).
