4. The new US Women's Champion Esther Epstein, NM Ivona Jezierska, TD Carol Jarecki and organizer and chief TD Bob Tanner. I first met Esther in 1991 when she stayed in our condo building during the 1991 US Women's Championship in Highland Beach, Florida; she tied with Irina Levitina for first place. it seems every time that I attend a women's Championship, Esther wins.
