Too risky is 12. ... Nxd4 13. Nxd4 Qxd4 14. Bc3 when the Black queen will face continuing harassment and his kingside may be breached with a later Bxf6 or Nxf6. Black varies from the second game when he played 12. ... Bd7. The game move aims for ... Nb4 seems better and in some instances threatens the b-pawn.
