White apparently has no intention of trying to refute Black's idea (of 3. ... a6!?). A bit of a psychological edge to the challenger... Other ways for White to play would be 4. Nc3 (holding up ... b5), or 4. d4, when Black could try an immediate 4. ... b5!?, or even 4. ... c5 (the so-called Dzindzi-Indian, named after our good friend GM Roman Dzindzichashvili). |
