NEWS UMBC (University of Maryland, Baltimore County) Offers Three Types of Four-year Chess Scholarships to UMBCChess-Player Scholar (up to full-tuition, room, and board) Special Merit for Chess (up to $10,000 per year) Tournament-Based Awards (up to full tuition) To apply, simply submit an undergraduate application to UMBC and indicate your interest in chess.
