Traditional: 40/2, SD/1. One round daily at 7:00pm, except rd. 9, 8/9 at 3pm.
6-Day Option: 8/4 7:00pm, 8/5 to 8/7 at 12 noon and 7:00pm, 8/8 at 7:00pm, 8/9 at 3pm.
4-Day Option: 8/6 2:00pm, 5:00pm & 8:00pm; 8/7 at 10:00am, 1:00pm, 3:30pm, 7pm, 8/8 7:00pm, 8/9 at 3pm.
All schedules merge after Round 6.

August 2, U.S. Open Scholastic.Open to K-12 [2008-9 school year] 4-SS, G/30, in three sections: Open, Under 1200/Unr, Under800/Unr. Entry fee $20. Registration 9am-11:30am, Rds: 12-1:30-3-4:30. Trophies for top five each section; top U1600 U1400 in Open; Top U1000, Unr in U1200; and Top U600, Unr in U800.
August 3, U.S. Open Bughouse. G/5. Entry fee $20 per team. 80 % of entry fees in cash prizes. Registration 9am-11:30am, first round begins at noon.
August 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, U.S. Open Quads. G/30. Entry fee $20. Registration 9am-11:30am, Rds. 12-1:30-2:30. $50 to first in each quad.
August 5, GM Kosteniuk Simul. GM Alexandra Kosteniuk, the reigning Women's World Chess Champion will play a simultaneous exhibition on Wednesday 5 August 2009 at 6:00 PM. Kids under 18 and anyone who defeats GM Kosteniuk will get a free autographed CD from Alexandra!! The cost is $50. On-line registration is now available. You may also register on-site.
August 5, U.S. Open G/15 Championship. 5-SS, G/15. Quick rated, higher of regular or quick rating. Entry fee $40. Registration 9am-11:30am. Rds: noon, 1:30, 3, 4:30. 80% of entries as returned as cash prizes. First 30%, second 15%, U2100 12%, U1800 10%, U1500/Unr 8%, U1200 5%. Rds 12-1-2-3-4.
August 7, GM Nakamura Simul. GM Hikaru Nakamura, the reigning 2009 US Champion who turned in an astonishing near 3100 performance rating in the French League, will play a simultaneous exhibition on Friday 7 August 2009 at 1:00 PM. August 8, U.S. Open Blitz Championship. WCL GPP: 15. 7-SS (double round, 14 games), 1 section, G/5. Quick rated, higher of regular or quick rating. Entry fee $40, free to Unrated if paying USCF dues.
