After two rounds at the World Youth Championship (Halkidiki, Greece, October 19-31), 11 U.S. representatives are on perfect 2-0s including last year's silver medallist in the Girls Under 8 section, Samritha Palakollu. Of course, this is very early in the 11-round tournament, and our entire squad is still in the running. Check out wins from three of our perfect scores so far: 4974 4975 4976 Remember that you can watch selected live games on the official website (where you can also view photos and watch video) each morning at 9 AM EST (October 25th is a rest day.) You can also follow the results of the US team and the entire tournament on chessresults.com. Good luck in the rounds to come!
