IM Ippolito to Attempt World Record on April 9th |

On April 9th, Saturday IM Dean Ippolito will attempt to break the World Record for the highest number of simultaneous games played. The event begins on April 9th at 10 AM in St. Ann's School in Raritan, NJ. According to the Guinness rules for this new world record category players must have a minimum established USCF or FIDE rating of 1200. IM Dean Ippolito told CLO, " We were putting a cap of 1800 for the maximum rating, but now have opened it up to everyone no matter the rating. The event will begin this Saturday at 10am and we will be giving away thousands of dollars in prizes."
