The US Blind Championship is currently in progress in Pittsburgh, PA. Seven players are participating including defending champ Daniel Steininger and the top rated (USCF 1936) Saulo Torres of Colombia (not eligible for the title). The US Blind Championship is a project dear to Joan DuBois. Joan is communications director at the USCF and the co-recipient of this year's distinguished service award with her sister Judy Misner.
