Gata Kamsky and Hikaru Nakamura both advanced to the final sixteen contenders at the World Cup in Tromso, Norway. Both won their matches in the classical portion and get a rest day
tomorrow, while their opponents are still undetermined, to be decided in playoff matches. Nakamura will play the winner of Daniil Dubov-Anton Korobov while Kamsky faces the victor in Shakhriyar Mamedyarov- Wei Yi. In round three, Nakamura scored 2-0 against GM Baskaran Adhiban of India.
