USCF Website Revision Project Update: Tray Creative |
March 26, 2015 | |
In the fall of 2014, the US Chess Federation distributed a
request for proposals for our website redesign project, with an eye to
emphasizing our new 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status. After the USCF Executive
director, key staff members and the active website committee chaired by Boyd
Reed reviewed a wealth of competitive applications, we selected Tray Creative,
based in Seattle Washington, to complete phase 1
of our website. Phase 1 of the project includes design and development of a 501 (c) (3) site. Executive Director Jean Hoffman told CLO, "We are very excited to work with Tray. Their enthusiasm and industry experience makes the process enjoyable and constructive." Currently, Tray is working with USCF staff on the architecture of the new site, and they are also consulting on content development and consistent design elements. Look for more updates on CLO as the process progresses. Hoffman said, "I'd particularly like to thank everyone who distributed the call for proposals (which created such a competitive process), and the vigorous work of our website committee.) |
