Powerhouse Webster Team Wins Final Four of College Chess Print E-mail

Webster University won the Final Four College of Chess, held over the March 28-29 weekend in New York. The Webster included powerhouse GMs Quang Liem Le (2755), Ray Robson (2750), Illia I Nyzhnyk (2748), GM Vasif Durarbayli (2676) and alternates  Fidel Corrales Jimenez (2605) and Andre  Diamant (2547). 

Webster prevailed over strong collegiate teams, University of Texas at Dallas (2nd place) Texas Tech University (3rd place) and University of Maryland Baltimore County (4th place.)
