According to tournament director Jon Haskel's preliminary calculations, Alex
Lenderman has earned his first GM norm at the Copper State
International (Mesa, Arizona, May 29-June 3) with 6.5/9. There is still a round to go tomorrow morning. According to Haskel, "going into the last round it appears that at least 4 players can get norms by winning their last games….Barcenilla, Fernandez, Hansen and Boor."
