Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis founder Rex Sinquefield will sponsor the US team to go to the World Team Championship, set for Bursa, Turkey from January 3-13.  According to Tony Rich, the executive director of the CCSCSL, The World Team Championship squad will consist of GMs Hikaru Nakamura, Alexander Onischuk, Yury Shulman, Varuzhan Akobian and Robert Hess. Rich said, "Each of the players has agreed to come to Saint Louis for various events thanks to Rex's generosity." Stay tuned for more info on this exciting event!
