Matt has been on a roll lately, earning two IM norms and 248 (!) FIDE rating points , even moving his friend GM Hikaru Nakamura to tweet, "So impressed by my hero Matt Herman! Perhaps I can go pick up 250+ Fide points sometime!.." 2010 was also an exciting year for Daniel. In addition to publishing his first book, Mastering Positional Chess, he is also qualified for the 2011 US Chess Championship at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis via the US Open. See an in-depth interview with Daniel from earlier this year on CLO. Find out more about Daniel's next event, the Berkeley International from January 2nd-8th on the official site.
