![]() After Astronaut Greg Chamitoff played 28.Rab1, Earthlings voted on choices provided by the Stevenson Elementary School Chess Club and chose 28...Qc5. Greg quickly responded with 29.Qxc5 and we expect our Washington stars to respond with 29...Rxc5, without a vote. Once again, it will be up to our National hero to choose the course of the game. Earth has all three remaining pieces tied up trying to defend its material advantage, and faces a long, strategical journey in order to make progress and convert a two pawn advantage into a win. As we wait for our students to officially respond to 29.Qxc5 - and then for Greg's response - check out the current position in our game viewer and see how YOU might continue the game. ![]() Greg Chamitoff vs. Earth (after 29.Qxc5) You can check out the current position in our Java viewer and try out the alternatives and see where they may lead.
