As I wrote on my twitter page, the pinnacle of my career so far was hearing that someone was dressing up as me for Halloween. Photographer Betsy Dynako showed off her "Jennifer Shahade" costume at a recent party hosted by the South Suburban Chess Club of Greater Chicago.  Can you see what this one was inspired by? And what is she referring to in the next one?  This all inspired me to get into the Halloween spirit even though I think of it as "Calorieween", since I can rarely fit into my jeans on November 1st. So tell me, who's better in this Trick or Treat chess set?  A close-up may help you decide whether you prefer White or Black!
