The Philadelphia Open will be held at the Sheraton Hotel in downtown Philly, Photo Chris Bird
The Philadelphia Open (March 31-April 4), the brand new CCA event that replaces the Foxwoods Open, kicks off tonight. Players in the 5-day Open section are eligible for norms. Check out event details on the official website and look for US Chess Scoop videos from the scene.

The tournament has a $70,000 guaranteed prize fund.
