Seventh Annual Mid-Atlantic Scholastic Championships
When: Saturday, January 31, 2015; 09:30am - 05:00pm
Where: Baltimore Polytechnic Institute & Wester High School
The Sixth Annual Greater Chicago Scholastic Championships
When: February 7, 2015; 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Where: McCormick Place - West Building
New York, NY, Jan. 27, 2015 — Kasparov Chess Foundation welcomes students from K – 12 grades to take part in its 2015 Scholastic Championships Series, spanning across major metropolitan areas of the nation. The Foundation is sponsoring these tournaments in association with local chess organizations in each region, including Maryland State Chess Association in the Mid-Atlantic, and Renaissance Knights Foundation in the Midwest.
The tournament schedules are as follows:

According to Kasparov Chess Foundation President, Michael Khodarkovsky, the tournaments are spread out throughout the country to make it accessible and affordable to all players and their families.
