After six rounds of the World Youth Championship (Halkidiki, Greece, October 19-31), US players Kayden Troff (in the Open Under 12) and Samuel Sevian (in the Under 10) are the top-scorers, with 5.5/6. In the Under 18, Steven Zierk is performing extremely well. He stands with 5/6 and is only behind GM Samvel Ter-Sahakyan from Armenia. Tommy He (Open Under 10), Cameron Wheeler (Open Under 10) Emily Nguyen (Girls Under 8) are all on 5/6. Stay up to date with the US squad pairings on chess results.com.
