One of our nicest members died recently. Hank was a wonderful gentleman who was always an enjoyable and friendly opponent, a pleasure to play. Additionally, he provided financial support to Virginia Chess. He was retired Navy and was active in the military chess events. He was a personal friend whom I greatly miss.
