Jim passed on December 14, 2005 at age 67 from a heart attack. He loved chess and continued with it his whole life. His sister Naomi Jue has taken his beloved chess sets and placed them in her classroom in memory of Jim as he loved to teach chess. Her efforts has resulted in her studens establishing a chess club at the school and over 60 students participate. Jim would have loved it.
