Sadly missed by wife of six years, Linda. John passed on March 5, 2005 in New York. Linda offers a few kind words.....

"He tried teaching me chess despite the fact she didn't even though the names of the pieces - but knowing her as well as he did he stopped trying to teach her as she is an admitted, "sore loser". John was a Master Bridge player. He loved playing chess and bridge with his relatives with some good hearted pretend arguing!"
