Chess Buzz for August 22, 1997This Week's Lighter Side: Biological Clock?
Last week we covered a fairly serious topic: who are the favorites for the 1997 Interplay US Chess Championship? in our "Wildcards and Cinderella Players" article. (Browne himself is a 6-time winner.) But we decided this week in the buzz to get back to lighter fare. The following (quoted by permission)is by Robin Jackson, and first appeared in 1995. Don't speak to me of Polgars. Don't mention Vera M. I'm just another player, with another game to play; Copyright 1995, Robin Jackson, all rights reserved.
