Of course, White avoids the risky 14. Nxd4 exd4 15. Bxd4, when it looks like 15. ... Qh4 will be very strong. For example 16. g3 Nxg3 17. fxg3 Qe4+ winning or 16. Be3 Bxb2 17. Rb1 Bc3+ is extremely strong.
