 At the 2018 National Junior High (K-9) Championship (NJH), allegations were made against a team of cheating via ratings manipulation  
 at earlier events.  After a thorough complaint and appeals process, several individuals and teams in the K8U1000 and K8U750 sections at  
 the NJH were disqualified and their scores and place prizes vacated.  The remaining place prizes for all other players and schools shall 
 remain as allocated at the event's Awards Ceremony.                                                                                      
 
                                                                                                                                      
 Simply raising other competitors and teams to fill the vacated places is a seemingly expedient solution.  However, it is not a fair      
 solution, as there is no way to know how other top individuals and teams were impacted by playing these disqualified competitors.
