BSmithslide.jpgIM Bryan Smith earned a GM norm at the 33rd Bulgarian International Open in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, held from January 30-February 6th. Smith scored 7/9 to secure the norm, with a performance rating of 2606 FIDE. Bryan said that Plovdiv was a "beautiful town", and sent the following two wins over GMs with White:
