The US squad lost their first round to Ukraine in the World Team Champs (November 24-December 6, Antalya, Turkey).
However, the Americans rebounded in round two with a 3-1 victory over Russia. Hikaru Nakamura won against Vladimir Kramnik. Nakamura now leapfrogs over Kramnik in the rankings at http://2700chess.com/ to #3 in the World.

Ray Robson scored the other decisive result in the match to take down Nikita Vitiugov.

US Champion Gata Kamsky lost to Anton Korobov in our first match vs. Ukraine.
