The results are in for the Holiday Silhouette Trivia! The common theme between all the photos was that they featured players who are in or on their way to Turkey for the World Team Championship, sponsored this year by the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis. Team captain IM John Donaldson told CLO, "Everyone but Hikaru ( he comes tomorrow) is here and in good spirits. Expect updates from the scene starting on January 4th." The following photo wasn't part of the contest, but features all six players on the squad.

The four winners of the contest will all receive one-year memberships or extensions to the Internet Chess Club: Anatoly Ostrovskiy, Sam Shankland, Joshua Gutman and Ryan Richardson.

The bonus question (What's the next tournament that all the silhouetted players plan to compete in together) winner is Andre Harding, who was the first one to give the correct answer that they will all participate (as a team) in the World Team Championship in Bursa, Turkey (January 4-13, 1st round has been  moved to January 5th.) Andre will receive a copy of Marcel Duchamp: The Art of Chess by Francis M. Naumann, Bradley Bailey and Jennifer Shahade.

And here are the photos again, with the answers:
