and team titles in 13 different sections, as well as for over 300 trophies!
The event will be held at the luxurious facilities of the
Rosen Shingle Creek in Orlando, Florida.
In addition to the main event, there will be Blitz and Bughouse
Championships on Thursday where more titles and trophies will be earned!
On Friday, 6-time U.S. Women's Champion GM Irina Krush will
do a 30-board simul as well as a take-on-all-comers blitz.
On Saturday, she will give a lecture followed
by a Question-and-Answer session.
On
Sunday, the live transmission of the Play Magnus and Chess.com simul of World
Champion Magnus Carlsen will be shown on a screen, with commentary from GM
Krush and IM Danny Rensch.
Participants
of the K-12 will have the opportunity to submit questions to GM Carlsen, and IM
Rensch will select two of those questions to be asked to the World Champion.
Players entered in the K-12 will also have the opportunity
