Over the years, many American players have earned norms at First Saturday, including Fabiano Caruana, who is currently ranked #7 in the live rating list at 2700chess.com. Battey's favorite game from the recent event was this win: "Nothing spectacular but this was relatively error-free. I thought the position after 29.Qa3 was very interesting." 6138 Find more information on the First Saturday series website, http://firstsaturday.hu/. |
