In the second game of the World Cup semifinals, Gata Kamsky defeated the teenaged Norweigan, Magnus Carlsen. On Thursday, Gata faces off in the final against the winner of Karjakin-Shirov. His game against Carlsen was a Petrov in which Gata quickly mounted pressure against Magnus' kingside. In the following position, Gata found a particularly strong move: Here is the full game: 1472 Karjakin and Shirov drew again so tomorrow, Tuesday, Dec.11, they go to tiebreak to see who will play Kamsky in the final. 1473 Wednesday, Dec.12 is a free day and then the four game match (Dec 13-16) begins on Thursday, followed by a day for tiebreak and closing ceremony (Dec.17.)
