"I am always excited about an event where 5,000+ people want to play chess!" Those inspired by the excerpts of GM Yury Shulman's lectures from the recent U.S. Chess School will have a chance to learn from the champ himself. Among other possible activities, Yury will host a lecture, and a book signing for a new edition of Chess! Lessons from a Grandmaster. " I am open to questions from all participants," Yury said. Before a big event like the SuperNationals, Yury recommends to solve lots of tactics and to exercise to ensure good physical shape for the tournament. "Even for the strongest players, it makes sense to try to solve the simplest puzzles." Yury continues, "Do not overburden yourself with theoretical lines.
