#1 ranked US player GM Hikaru Nakamura is turning up the heat at the NH Chess tournament in Amsterdam. After winning his first round against Ljubojevic, he saved a tough rook endgame vs. Loek Van Wely and scored in round three against Peter Heine Nielsen.

Update: Nakamura lost in round four to Svidler-and faces Gelfand in round five. Look for photos tomorrow, and a report by GM Ian Rogers after the rest day on Tuesday.
