Abby Marshall drew her final round game against Michael Yang in the Denker tournament of high school champions to score 5.5/6, a half point ahead of the rest of the field.

Her game was a tough Sicilian battle, where she ended up on the wrong side of a Sicilian endgame where her opponent's pawn structure and two bishops made it a very long road to a draw.
